Synopsis

Odd things are happening in Alburtis, Pa. The otherwise sleepy, rural town has been making the local news, hourly, following several seemingly unrelated events: a grisly murder-suicide at a bottling plant, a heated brawl at the local watering hole, and a senseless roaming riot in the streets.

Just on the other side of the railroad tracks, in the neighboring town of Macungie, Embry James is awakened in the dim, early hours of the morning by the call of family duty.
While repairing storm damage to his Grandfather's workshop, Embry uncovers a strange artifact and his life begins to take on a new meaning.

A “chance” encounter, with an eccentric foreign man at a local diner, causes Embry’s life to collide head-on with the events in Alburtis, Pa. where he learns of a dark conspiracy at the Spring Creek water bottling plant.

As Embry and “The Foreign Man” uncover the plot by the philanthropic mega-millionaire, Alexander Sahakian, they realize that they share an unexpected connection through the mysterious artifact and through Embry’s dead grandfather; a connection that will bind their fates together.

What is the nature of the object that Embry James has unearthed?

Can the conspiracy in Alburtis be stopped?

Does your life direct you towards that which you require the most?

The answers lie at the center of Miller’s Pond.
